More to the story
As the fouls were called, shooters at the free throw line often bricked them, one by one. In fact, during the fourth period the Eagles missed 14 of 25 free throws. That included 6 of 8 attempts in the last 30 seconds!
They had three players foul out in the final period. Yeah, that's right, the loss of players crippled the team and that is why they lost.
Repeat that again . . . Missed 14 of 25, and 6 of 8 in the final 30 seconds?! So it was the officials' fault, huh — not coaches, players, or fans? That entitles all three categories of non-officials to verbally abuse the experts on the floor?! HELLLLOOOO!
