was flipping channels when I came across footage of Dan Marjerle. What was Dan Marjele doing on my TV?
He was involved in a scene where Charles Barkley would take the final shot in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals. Barkley paid an inordinate amount of attention to the clock, set his feet, made his shot from beyond the arc for a game winning trey. It looked vaguely familiar, but it could have been Space Jam or something, not sure. Just then, a comically short Billy Crystal comes up flailing, calling off the basket. It was Forget Paris, a decent, but forgettable flick.
Crystal plays an NBA referee — and a good one. Joe Mantegna plays a sports writer and his best friend. So far, so good. Right? Unfortunately, this is a chick flick, in cool sports movie's clothes.
