Have you begun thinking about what you need to do to prepare for the rapidly approaching season? (grin) OK, the rapidly approaching March Madness. What I'm suggesting is that part of your plans for next season had better include something about fitness.
Part of your plans are easy. Maybe you'll order some new shirts in the latest high-tech fabric. Perhaps you need to finish up your review of this year's test. Oh, and hit the gym. The first couple of games were pretty rough back in October, and you don't want to go through that again. Like you do every year.
We all know what we need to do to prepare physically. Or at least we think we do. Some running or a few lunch times at the gym, then work a few scrimmages just to get our "game legs" under us. Yeah, it sucks, but once we get through that, we're good to go for another season.
