It's amazing how much a day off work and a couple of college football games will do for your spirits. The turkey has been gobbled. (I know: Thanksgiving is Thursday, not Sunday, but....) The tryptophan has kicked in. After loosening my belt for a restful nap in front of the TV, and spending some time reading to the kiddies, I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and tackle the rest of reporting.
In Part I, we covered a lot of ground about — not covering so much ground. We're off to a good start. But there is a lot more to handling reporting well than just flashing a few signs and dashing off to your next station. None of it is difficult. But it requires slowing down and making sure all of the business is taken care of.
