As together we embark on Part XVI, we have reached a suitable vantage point from which to survey the trail behind us. This series' genesis was my experience evaluating officials at a tournament last March. After writing tens of evaluations (not quite dozens, but definitely tens), some common themes emerged. I collated, tallied, analyzed, categorized, and generally spreadsheeted the dickens out of the data. From thence sprang this series.
